The Crestmoor Crocs Swim Team is committed to providing a positive, fun, and safe atmosphere for all swimmers, coaches, parents, and volunteers. To ensure a respectful and sportsmanship-like environment, all team members and supporters are asked to follow the guidelines outlined in this code of conduct.
As a swimmer of Crestmoor, I agree to:
Respect my teammates and coaches: Treat all swimmers, coaches, officials, volunteers, and opponents kindly and respectfully.
Display good sportsmanship: Congratulate others, accept wins and losses, and avoid negative behaviors.
Follow Instructions: Listen to my coaches and follow their guidance during practices and meets.
Try my best: I will work hard in practices and meets and strive to improve my swimming skills.
Be safe and responsible: I will follow all pool and team safety rules and clean up after myself at practices, Home and Away meets, and team events.
Represent My Team Positively: Show team spirit and always uphold a positive attitude.
As a parent/guardian of a Crestmoor Swim team swimmer, I agree to:
Support my swimmer positively: Encourage effort, progress, and sportsmanship rather than just winning.
Respect Coaches and Officials: Trust the coaching staff’s decisions and avoid coaching from the sides.
Be a good role model: Display respect, sportsmanship, and a positive attitude at meets and practices.
Refrain from Negative Behavior: Avoid criticizing swimmers, coaches, or officials in public or on social media.
Follow team policies: Abide by all team rules, including volunteering, and meet attendance expectations.
Communicate Respectfully: Address concerns privately with the coaching staff or team leadership.
As a coach or volunteer for the Crestmoor Swim team, I agree to:
Prioritize Swimmer’s well-being: Foster a safe, supportive, and positive learning environment.
Lead by Example: Model good sportsmanship, respect, and teamwork.
Encourage growth and development: Focus on swimmer improvement, effort, and enjoyment of the sport.
Communicate Effectively: Provide clear instructions and constructive feedback to swimmers and parents.
Follow all safety guidelines: Adhere to team and pool safety rules to ensure a safe environment.
Respect team policies and decisions: Support the team’s mission and follow all league and team regulations.
