Update
Good morning, Crocs,
I want to thank you all for the kind wishes yesterday; they meant a lot to me. For those who may not know, I have been dealing with anemia for a few years. Recently, my routine bloodwork showed that my hemoglobin level had dropped to 6.1. My primary care physician informed me that I needed to go to the ER immediately for further testing and a blood transfusion, as I am now considered severely anemic.
I completed the blood transfusion yesterday, which should help increase my levels and move me out of the severe anemia category. I am feeling good this morning and hopeful that each day will continue to improve.
Regarding the dry land practice scheduled for tomorrow, I am hoping we can still have it, but I am not sure at this time due to all this rain. If we can’t, I’m not too concerned, and I am confident that all our swimmers will be ready for swim practice starting on May 27.
Thank you again for your understanding!
Coach Erin
